Trees for Troops

The Beckwith family is proud to participate in the Trees For Troops program, providing free real Christmas trees for U.S. armed forces and their families. Each year, Beckwith Christmas Trees is proud to participate in a national program called "Trees For Troops."

Through this program, managed by the National Christmas Tree Association's Christmas Spirit Foundation, we join growers from throughout the United States in donating real Christmas trees.

Trees are delivered to our troops and their families in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, and Qatar, as well as to numerous military bases including our own Fort Drum.

Since 2005, this program has donated more than 200,000 real Christmas trees! Your generous donations are very much appreciated to help us continue this program.

Trees for Troops are donated by the Beckwith Christmas Tree Farm-the Christmas Tree Station, for delivery to U.S. military and their families at no charge.Fed-Ex ships these trees at no charge, but there are many additional expenses including staff to coordinate the shipments, printed materials, etc.

According to the NCTA office, "more than 95% of the Christmas SPIRIT Foundation's budget goes directly to its programs. We spend less than 1% on fundraising and administrative costs are about 3.5%. "

How You Can Help

Many families like to buy a second tree, which can be donated to the Trees for Troops program, or to make a monetary gift to help with the related expenses.

Please ask us about the Trees for Troops program, and how you can help.

We also welcome volunteers to help us harvest, wrap and load the trees donated for this program.
